The Engelstad Arena represents state of the art architectural design and fast track construction achieved only through close coordination and a total team approach. The predominant use of concrete as the building material of choice is the foundation for this award. Congratulations is due the owners, architects, and engineers for recognition of the strength, flexibility, durability, and aesthetics inherent in the use of high tech precast and cast in place concrete. Credit is also due the many contractors and sub-contractors whose coordination and cooperation allowed the project to be constructed on time and within nominal budgets. Finally, the efforts of the four concrete producers cannot be overlooked. This award is given to all involved in recognition of this, a crowning achievement
