This bridge is built with seven 72” X 149’ pre-stress concrete girders and fourteen end span girders 111’long. These 149’ bridge beams became the longest pre-stress concrete girder produced in North Dakota. With special pre-stress strand and special high strength concrete mix designs, pre-stress concrete girders can now be used economically in the 150’ span length. No matter how you look at it, concrete will provide the North Dakota Department of Transportation with a project that will last more than a lifetime.
