Owner: When Paul & Laurie decided to build a new home, they wanted a house that provided style, warmth, quiet comfort, energy efficiency and design flexibility. Their two level insulated concrete form (ICF) house has met this goal and more. Even the difficulty of constructing 29 corners was easily met using the flexibility inherent in preformed 45 and 90 degree corners. In addition to the 300 cubic yards of concrete used in construction of the house and driveway, the project also includes 1,362 segmental concrete retaining wall blocks and 27,300 bricks. This award winning project will provide architectural beauty, comfort, strength and safety for centuries to come.
