Using SCC concrete with a 22 inch spread, their contractor is casting the support cylinder one ring at a time, and getting great results. Strengths are well above design requirements, and the surface finish is extremely smooth, with no honeycomb and even very few bug holes. Cold joints are almost invisible. Word is, that the finish and color is so superior, that the intended painting job will not be necessary.
